The lightweight Trek Santiago tent is indispensable for trekkers. It is extremely lightweight and is also referred to as an ultralight tent. The light weight and minimal pack space are exactly the arguments that will convince every fan of trekking. The lightweight tent is of course not only designed for trekking, as a small, handy tent that weighs little and requires little space, it is a good choice for many other uses. Think of a motorcycle tour, a weekend trip or a long night of partying in summer, after which you would like to stay at the lake.
The ultralight tent can be set up in a few steps. Apart from the lightweight tent, all you need is either the included duraluminium poles or two trekking poles with which the tent can be erected. The lightweight Trek Santiago tent is a tent for one person with a long sleeper cab and a height that makes is possible to sit upright comfortably. On one side of the light tent, there is a closable window which also has a mosquito net and when the window is closed when it rains, two vents provide for comfortable air flow in the small tent. The tarpaulin is made of polyester with a PU coating and, together with the taped seams, it makes the tent very waterproof thanks to a huge water column of up to 5,000 mm.
The lightweight tent has a comfortable large apse of 233 cm in length and 66cm at the widest point. This makes it very roomy and gives excellent storage space for luggage. At about only 1.15 kg, the ultralight tent is ideal for any trekking rucksack or motorbike pannier.
